Hi Samuel, It sounds like you've downloaded the development branch from our GitHub account. This typically isn't a great idea unless you specifically want to run unstable code with potential problems. You'd probably be better served downloading one of our releases from http://github.com/Unidata/netcdf-c/releases; these contain the `configure` scripts and associated build infrastructure required. I hope this helps, have a great day! -Ward > hi > I'm trying to install the ntcdf package to run in Fortran, a ubuntu 14.01 > environment. However when I install the "netcdf-c" I get an error when I run > "./configure". > > @ Necromancer necromancer-Satellite-U40t-A: ~ / Downloads / CMS / netcdf-c > -master $ CPPFLAGS = -I / home / necromancer / local / include LDFLAGS = -L / > home / necromancer / local / lib ./configure - --prefix = / home / > necromancer / local > bash: ./configure: No such file or directory > @ Necromancer necromancer-Satellite-U40t-A: ~ / Downloads / CMS / netcdf-c > -master $ > > I hope you can help me solve this problem > > samuel > > Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: NAR-529766 Department: Support netCDF Priority: Normal Status: Closed
