[netCDF #NAR-529766]: error ./configure: There is no file or directory

Hi Samuel,

It sounds like you've downloaded the development branch from our GitHub 
account.  This typically isn't a great idea unless you specifically want to run 
unstable code with potential problems.  You'd probably be better served 
downloading one of our releases from 
http://github.com/Unidata/netcdf-c/releases; these contain the `configure` 
scripts and associated build infrastructure required.
