[netCDFJava #IQQ-460810]: issue opening a file as dods vs. local file

When I open it in toolsUI and
featuretype grids, It does indeed
show nothing. But if I use the 
parseinfo button, I see it is recognizing
the coordinate variables and apparently
recognizing variables Latitude and Longitude.
Why it does not display them, I do not know.
