You can save the data returned from
that url as a .nc file using ncdump.
However, the result will probably
not be identical to the original
ocean_v_2008_05_12.nc file because
it will still be converted to dap
before being converted again to .nc
format.
If you need the original .nc file,
you will have to contact the site
that is storing it, which in this
case is apparently  www.marine.csiro.au
