[netCDF #EXA-386504]: netCDF Version to Download

Hi Chad,

You could download the latest source version 3.6.2 of netCDF, which is 
available from the netCDF home page or as

  ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/netcdf/netcdf.tar.gz

It's very easy to build from source on Linux, as the easy directions here 
explain:

There's also a binary release you could install from

  ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/binary/linux_2.6-i686/netcdf-3.6.2.tar.gz

I don't know of any RPMs that are available yet for this release (it's fairly 
new), but it may already be available at one of the standard sources for RPM 
packages.
