>From: yakob woldeyesus <address@hidden> >Organization: ? >Keywords: 200407051824.i65IOKaW024289 Yakob, >I have this data that has 4 columns each column representing the following: > >col. #1 longitude >col. # 2 latitude >col. #3 & #4 topography > >I would like to convert it to netCDF format so that I can use it to plot maps > using gmt software. How can I do that conversion please? I am not aware of any packages that will do exactly what you want, so you may have to write a program to convert your data. You may want to join the netcdfgroup email list that we maintain and ask other netCDF users if they have developed a program that already does what you want. You can (un)subscribe to any Unidata-maintained email list online at: http://my.unidata.ucar.edu/content/support/mailinglist/mailing-list-form.html?unidata=4192b2d1e2e6be48670bc2a0f98b396e If you decide to subscribe to post your inquiry, please wait until you have received notification of being added to the list before your post.
