Dave,

I see what you mean about the IDS data-stream stopping.  The downstream
LDM process on Virga that should be receiving IDS data from Freshair is,
instead, sleeping and not using any CPU.  Why this is so I have not idea:
it's startup line looks OK (it's not requesting product starting at some
time in the future) and Freshair is definitely getting IDS data.  The
only thing I can think of that is consistent with this is that some
router is throwing away the packets from Freshair destined for Virga.

I'll try poking around some more.
