Hi Vanessa, After starting the IDV, go to the IDV Dashboard, Data Choosers Tab. At that point, click on the Images node under Sat & Radar (there on the left side of the dashboard). At that point you can enter in "openarchive.ssec.wisc.edu" in the server text box. Now click Connect. At that point, the IDV should prompt you for your credentials.
