Hi JP, Sorry the IDV is not working for you. Can you provide a few more details? If I recall correctly, you run the IDV on Windows? For example, from the Windows command prompts (cmd.exe), you can start the IDV with C:\Program Files\IDV_5.4\runIDV.bat Copy and paste any error message you see and report these errors to us. Also, double check you are downloading the correct version for the IDV: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv/current/index.jsp Note that there are 32 and 64 bit versions of the Windows installer. Another possibility is your .unidata directory may be corrupt. The .unidata directory is a hidden folder in your home directory \Users\<your windows username>\.unidata. Here are instructions on viewing hidden folders on Windows: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files Please delete this .unidata directory and restart the IDV. What happens? Please keep us up-to-date on your progress. Best, Unidata IDV Support > Hi there, > > Ever since last night I have not been able to open or run IDV.
