[IDV #KCN-689298]: IDV Installer

Barry,

I asked below what was the result of issuing (from the Terminal)

java -version (there's a typo below)

before opening the Installer.app

What was the result of that?

We install the IDV on OS X all the time so something unusual is happening
here. Not sure what it is yet.

I also wonder if there is something in your Java preferences that is blocking
Java somehow.

Best,

Unidata IDV Support
