Neil, gdr isn't one of our programs. I believe you are referring to John N-G's driver that was created at TAMU to create gifs without an X server. GEMPAK 5.6 does provide a "gif" driver which can generate gifs without the use of an X server. The "gf" driver does require an xterm. So, you should be able to use DEVICE=gif|filename as a replacement. Steve Chiswell Unidata User Support >From: "Neil R.
