Doug, I downloaded and tested a sample of the new data being added to the data2/TIGGE/gepxx.tHHz.pgrb2cfFF files. I found in addition to 2m dewpoint, that specific humidty was also available in the file at 2m (wheras the note you have from Brent listed only 2m dewpoint) therefore I saw 11 additional parameters and not 10. The parameter name I use for specific humidity is SPFH. Dewpoint is DWPK, and potential vorticity is PVOR. The vertical coordinate for the PVOR is 320K THTA, and the 2 meeter AGL is 2m HGHT. data2/TIGGE/gep20.t00z.pgrb2cf84 !grib2/ncep/SPEC62MRF/#000/200709190000F084/SPFH/200 Pa PRES! 000859 data2/TIGGE/gep20.t00z.pgrb2cf84 !grib2/ncep/SPEC62MRF/#000/200709190000F084/SPFH/250 Pa PRES! 000860 data2/TIGGE/gep20.t00z.pgrb2cf84 !grib2/ncep/SPEC62MRF/#000/200709190000F084/SPFH/300 Pa PRES! 000863 data2/TIGGE/gep20.t00z.pgrb2cf84 !grib2/ncep/SPEC62MRF/#000/200709190000F084/SPFH/500 Pa PRES! 000865 data2/TIGGE/gep20.t00z.pgrb2cf84 !grib2/ncep/SPEC62MRF/#000/200709190000F084/SPFH/700 Pa PRES! 000866 data2/TIGGE/gep20.t00z.pgrb2cf84 !grib2/ncep/SPEC62MRF/#000/200709190000F084/SPFH/850 Pa PRES! 000867 data2/TIGGE/gep20.t00z.pgrb2cf84 !grib2/ncep/SPEC62MRF/#000/200709190000F084/SPFH/925 Pa PRES! 000868 data2/TIGGE/gep20.t00z.pgrb2cf84 !grib2/ncep/SPEC62MRF/#000/200709190000F084/SPFH/1000 Pa PRES! 000869 data2/TIGGE/gep20.t00z.pgrb2cf84 !grib2/ncep/SPEC62MRF/#000/200709190000F084/SPFH/2 m HGHT! 000872 data2/TIGGE/gep20.t00z.pgrb2cf84 !grib2/ncep/SPEC62MRF/#000/200709190000F084/DWPK/2 m HGHT! 000873 data2/TIGGE/gep20.t00z.pgrb2cf84 !grib2/ncep/SPEC62MRF/#000/200709190000F084/PVOR/320 K THTA! 000876 Steve Chiswell Unidata User Support On Thu, 2007-09-20 at 03:32 -0600, Doug Schuster wrote: > Hi Steve, > > > Brent Gordon provided the below information to us that NCEP will be > adding additional > parameters to the TIGGE stream next week.
