Where do I find my version number? > Hello, If you open a terminal where CAVE is installed you can run "rpm -qa | grep awips2-cave" and should see something like: awips2-cave-20.3.2-49.x86_64 Which means you are running version 20.3.2-49 in this example. You can also talk with your ITO about what version is installed and when new versions will be installed. The version of AWIPS that we (NSF Unidata) make publicly available (https://unidata.github.io/awips2/install/install-cave/) is based off the NWS version of AWIPS but has some major differences. Additionally, we are here to provide support for the NSF Unidata version of AWIPS, but we don't provide support for the NWS version of AWIPS as that is out of our domain.
