Last week we put out a new release of AWIPS, and that is why your python-script is not currently working. We updated our public EDEX server (edex-cloud.unidata.ucar.edu) and the previous version of python-awips is not compatible. You should be able to simply update the python-awips package (either with pip or conda) and then the script should resume working. Since you use python-awips and our public EDEX server, it might be useful for you to join our awips2-users mailing list. We only send out emails about AWIPS updates, outages and our bi-weekly blog series. If you're interested you can sign up here: https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/support/index.html#mailinglists Please let me know if that makes sense and if the package update resolves the issue.
