Hey there, I just came across our conversation from a while back, and I'm sorry I've never reached out again. We do now have MacOS installers for CAVE that work on newer versions of MacOS and use Python3 instead of Python2. I'm not sure if you're on our mailing list, awips2-users, but you might have seen our updates over the past year that way if you were. You can subscribe to our mailing list here (we only send emails when there are outages or AWIPS updates): https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/support/index.html#mailinglists If you'd like to install CAVE for Mac, it should work on the more recent OS's: https://unidata.github.io/awips2/install/install-cave/#macos I just wanted to circle back and let you know.
