Hello, Glad to see you're interested in AWIPS! You are correct in that in order to visualize data within CAVE the data needs to be processed by an EDEX server. Briefly looking through your datasets, some of them such as the GOESR data can easily be ingested and processed by EDEX and visualized in CAVE. However some datasets will require configuration or possibly new decoders before EDEX can process them. Unidata also has a public EDEX that you can connect CAVE to and view the datasets we have to get a feel for the software.
