There should only be a delay if/when the From: email address of the user posting to the list is not subscribed to the list. In that case, the post gets put in quarantine until a list moderator can approve/disapprove of the post. This allows for spam to be excluded from the list. The way all of the lists we (Unidata) maintain are supposed to work is an email notification is sent back to a user posting to a list when their email address is not subscribed to the list. There is no corresponding ID sent for email list posts. I see your support inquiry is in our inquiry tracking system waiting for a THREDDS developer to respond. I will remind the THREDDS folks about your inquiry. Question: - is it possible that you sent your inquiry to Unidata THREDDS Support address@hidden and not to the address@hidden list?
