Hi François, The THREDDS Data Server (TDS) can serve netCDF data as well as several other data formats. It uses the netCDF-Java library (http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf-java/) to read data and so can serve any data the netCDF-Java library can read (you can find a list of supported data formats from the above link). The WMS server in the TDS uses the ncWMS server code which does support the TIME parameter. You can find more detailed information on ncWMS at http://www.resc.rdg.ac.uk/trac/ncWMS/ Ethan > One of our customers just pointed us at the THREDDS WMS server, which they > are considering using. > This is a French research institute, and they need support for reading > netCDF files (I think you do). > > Moreover, they must publish multitemporal datasets through WMS. > So I'd like to know if THREDDS is able to serve raster data via WMS with the > TIME parameter in getMap requests. > > Thank's for your answer ! > > François Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: ITT-451893 Department: Support THREDDS Priority: Normal Status: Closed
