adding restricted datasets in TDS

This archive contains answers to questions sent to Unidata support through mid-2025. Note that the archive is no longer being updated. this covers the simple case where you can use Tomcat security. Comments welcome.

I am also interested in hearing use cases where you want to plug in your own 
authentication/authorization.
