Hi Jerome:

The default is to scan all files and subdirectories of the directory you
specify in "location".

To turn this off, I just added the "subdirs" attribute, eg:

  <scan dateFormatMark="CG#yyyyDDD_HHmmss"
location="C:/dev/thredds/cdm/src/test/data/ncml/nc/cg/" suffix=".nc"
subdirs="false" />

This only works in the latest version i am working on. Im about ready to give
it to you to test. Are you ready for it?
