I have discovered that -- apparently -- everything works fine for the intel compiler when using the current netcdf-c master branch on github. So whatever the problem was, either we are not testing for it or it was fixed as a side effect of some other change. > I am trying to get access to a machine with an intel compiler > to solve a different bug.
