[netCDF #TPT-541327]: error during make check

Hello,

Those are both quite old versions of HDF5 and NetCDF.  There are errors related 
to changing error messages and system behavior.  You might try with the latest 
versions (HDF5-1.8.20, NetCDF-4.6.1) and see if the error persists.
