Hello, From the config.log file you provided, I see the following error: ```` configure:21441: gcc -o conftest -fPIC -I/home/mostafa/RegCM_LIBS/netcdf/include -I/home/mostafa/RegCM_LIBS/hdf5/include -I/home/mostafa/RegCM_LIBS/zlib/include -L/home/mostafa/RegCM_LIBS/netcdf/lib -L/home/mostafa/RegCM_LIBS/hdf5/lib -L/home/mostafa/RegCM_LIBS/zlib/lib conftest.c -lnetcdf >&5 configure:21441: $? = 0 configure:21441: ./conftest ./conftest: error while loading shared libraries: libnetcdf.so.13: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory ```` This suggests that the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environmental variable needs to be set. I infer that the proper setting is LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/home/mostafa/RegCM_LIBS/netcdf/lib" This will tell the runtime linker where to find libnetcdf. Thank you, I hope this helps, -Ward > ?I always? > ? get this message: > > ? > configure: error: cannot compute sizeof (off_t) > > ?and I can't solve it, please help me... > > attached is the config.log file ... > > Best Regards ... > > > *~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~* > > *Mostafa Mahmoud El Nazer* > > *Researcher* > > *National Research Centre* > > *Physics Division* > > *Theoretical Physics Department* > > *Cairo – Egypt* > > *Mobile: +201017326663 <0101%20732%206663>* > > Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: QED-834970 Department: Support netCDF Priority: Normal Status: Closed =================== NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
