[netCDF #HAW-868287]: syntax error, unexpected WORD_WORD , expecting SCAN_ATTR or SCAN_DATASET or SCAN_ERROR

Unfortunately, RDA is a redirect-based system. See the 
section "Redirection-Based Authentication" in docs/auth.html
for a description of what this means.
But the important thing is that redirect=based authorization
cannot use a user:pwd in the URL. It means that you MUST use
the .netrc file to provide the user and pwd.
