[netCDF #HLM-915223]: Wrong detection of HDF5

Hello Julian,

Thank you for the patch, I will take a look at it.  Can you describe in more 
detail the circumstances around the issue, e.g. what filesystem you were using 
that did not support POSIX, what version of MPI, etc? This way we can add 
additional tests to our integration system.
