[netCDF #DHW-277522]: ncdump doesn't display enough digits

I am not sure I completely understand you problem.
The values you show Z_ISO =
-9.99000009817369e+20, [ . . . elided . . .] 
are not coming from the _Fillvalue, otherwise they would show as '_'.
Are you saying that ncdump is incorrectly using the Fillvalue
when it should be using the actual value?
