[netCDF #BNL-694121]: ncgen bug?

Thank you for bringing this up.
Currently, inside a CDL file, the keywords
are reserved, but it is possible to create 
a file thru the API that has e.g. a variable
named 'data'. This is inconsistent. I will
create a bug report for this on github.
In the meantime, you will have to rename the
variable.
