[netCDF #ARR-765095]: Netcdf Make Check Errors

Unfortunately, Russ has retired in the last month, but I will try to help
you out with this. From what you’ve provided, I would guess that your user
account does not have permission to write to /usr/local/include; you can
test this by running

$ touch /usr/local/include/foo.txt

I expect you will see the same error. You will need to run make install
with root privileges (assuming you have them on the system you are working
on). You would run it as follows:

$ sudo make install

If you do not have root privileges on the system, you will need to define a
different directory during configure, using the --prefix command, e.g.
--prefix=/home/kfranks/local or some other suitable value.
