Hello, We do not maintain or support the wgrib2 package here at Unidata; it is maintained by the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center. You may find the project webpage here: http://www.cpc.noaa.gov/products/wesley/wgrib2/ The project page appears to have a lot of documentation which may help you with this issue; failing that, it appears there is also contact information for the CPC. They may be able to provide further support.
