[netCDFJava #NXD-157061]: Proxy server requiring authentication

Ok, we may have a problem.

We are using Apache httpclient version 3,
which claims to support NTLM. However,
other data on the web implies that NTLM
support does not work. There is a fix, but
it requires installing some stuff that is under
LGPL license, which we will not do.

I will attempt to put in the NTLM support
and you can try it; maybe you will get lucky.
You might also see if your sys admins will provide
some alternate authentication mechanism such as DIGEST.
