[netCDF #PXV-184955]: error

My immediate guess is that the motherlode server
was either down or very slow to respond. When
you see such errors, you should check
to see if the motherlode server is up by
pasting "http://motherlode.ucar.edu/thredds";
into your browser and see if you get a response.

In any case, try again and let me know if the failure
is still occurring.
