[netCDF #OAL-156812]: nasParse.y:30:

Sorry, FAN is unsupported user-contributed software.  As it says in ftp 
README file or in the associated documentation in

  http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/Contrib.html

Unidata hasn't tested this software and makes it available as is.
