[netCDF #AQK-466372]: NETCDF-4.1.3 build error

I saw the message. This is going to be difficult
to debug because, as far as I know, we no longer
have a machine running AIX.  I will review the code
and see if there is anything obvious.

If AIX has the equivalent of the nm program,
you could run "nm netcdf.a" or "nm netcdf.so"
and send me the output.
