Hi Sibren:
To clarify, the local parameters are not a problem, as long as we have the
correct tables for them.
the problem are the parameters that are in the WMO reserved section of the
table, but are different for KMA.
For example, in the file you sent me
(r120_v038_erea_unis_h003_2010092500.grib2), there is a paremeter
that looks like this in the latest version:
float P0-1-13_L1(time0=1, y=419, x=491);
:long_name = "Water equivalent of accumulated snow depth @ Ground or water
surface";
:units = "kg.m-2";
:missing_value = NaNf; // float
:grid_mapping = "LambertConformal";
:Grib_Parameter = "0-1-13";
:Grib_Level_Type = 1; // int
note that the units are different that what was sent in the KMA tables:
this= 0.1.13 SNOW_AMOUNT_OVER_LAND_AFT_TSTP m
wmo=4.2.0.1.13 Water equivalent of accumulated snow depth kg.m-2
so anyone reading this file will have the wrong units, AFAICT.
