[netCDF #RAE-945667]: Long double variables in netcdf

No, sorry, "long double" is not a supported primitive type in any of the netCDF 
format variants.  It may be possible to add it to netCDF-4 in the future if 
there is enough demand, but I can't recall anyone else requesting
it before your question.
