I thought that maybe installing CODAS also installed an older version of the netCDF library than you had been using, but it appears that CODAS doesn't depend on netCDF. When you reinstalled matlab, did you also reinstall the same version of Toolbox For Matlab-5 that you had been using previously? Is there a separate test for Toolbox for Matlab-5 that you could run to see if there's anything wrong with its installation?
