[netCDF #CHZ-138505]: Problem while Installing

Howdy Chandan!

Can you instead try the latest release, 4.1.1? 

If you don't want to use the netCDF-4/HDF5 features, configure it using 
--disable-netcdf-4 and you will get the core netCDF library without any 
netCDF-4 extra features.

The latest version has important bugfixes, and also is more portable, and more 
likely to build on your platform without any extra effort.
