[netCDF #EFH-651694]: netcdf-4.1.1 shared library error

Hi Preeti,

You may be right.  I noticed that none of our current nightly tests and none of 
the
tests that were run on 4.1.1 used --enable-shared, so it is apparently not a 
very
well tested option.  Was this run still on a Bluegene-L?  It would be helpful if
you could provide the information requested here, so we could try to duplicate 
the
problem knowing all the environment variables and flags used for running the 
configure
script:
