[netCDF #HYK-373191]: Problems with building NETCDF using the NAG nagfor (release 5.2) compiler under cygwin

Howdy Brian!

Sorry, I don't know how to deal with your rpath problems, except that you can 
pass flags to the netCDF build by setting environment variables. So you if can 
figure out the arguments you need in LDFLAGS, you should be able to get what 
you want.

You might try the latest beta release:
ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/netcdf/netcdf-4.1.2-beta1.tar.gz

I have put your suggested changes in test_write.F into my branch of the netCDF 
codebase. It will make its way into the main trunk, and the daily snapshot, but 
not until I get back from vacation next month.
