Kevin- Actually we are making progress; this error is farther on than the previous ones. The situation is odd because it looks like your runtime is trying to check for reading from unitialized and unallocated memory (more or less what valgrind does). Unfortunately, it appears to be getting it wrong sometimes. This means that we can keep fixing errors, but new ones are likely to pop up. When I check the cc version (cc -V) I get > cc -V > cc: Sun C 5.10 SunOS_i386 2009/06/03 Is this the same as on your machine? Are there some odd compiler/loader flags you are using? =Dennis Heimbigner Unidata Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: RUE-876772 Department: Support netCDF Priority: Normal Status: Open
