[netCDF #GMO-635165]: netcdf-4.0.1 with MPI enabled

Howdy Davide!

You need to upgrade to HDF5 1.8.3-snap2. I think that could resolve your 
problems.

I test the parallel I/O on a linux workstation with MPICH2.

Sorry if you get two responses to this support request - I don't know what 
happened to my last attempt - seemed to vanish...
