Hi Jed,

Intel provides these instructions for building netCDF with Intel compilers:

though their instructions are only for netCDF-3.6.2.

Another user has reported this works for him:

> Mac-OS-X Leopard, Intel compilers

> The following worked for me. YMMV.

> CC="icc"
> FC="ifort"
> CFLAGS='-O3 -xN -ip -no-prec-div -static'
> FFLAGS='-O3 -xN -ip -no-prec-div -static'
