[netCDF #TSQ-821770]: netcdf 2.x download

Hi Kevin,

Yes, the old version (no longer supported) is here:

  ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/netcdf/old/netcdf-2.4.1.tar.Z

However your user may not be aware that all the netCDF-2 functions
are still supported in all the netCDF-3 or netCDF-4 versions that
have been released since.  We continue to provide support for old
versions of the format as well as the APIs in all current and future
releases.  So the user might just try linking with the current library
to see if the old program works.
