[netCDF #THR-976469]: netcdf4: make check - Unexpected result,

Well, we never resolved your error messages, but I wonder if this is not one of
the bugs fixed in HDF5 1.8.2?

Can you install HDF5 1.8.2 and try the latest netCDF snapshot to see if your
problem still occurs?
