Hi Jake, The netCDF software has no restriction that lat/lon coordinates (or any coordinates) must be evenly spaced, so this is evidently a limitation of the ESRI ArcMap software. Perhaps it is accessing the data from a WCS 1.0 server, a version of the OGC Web Coverage Service that only allowed equally spaced grid coordinates. There are several regridding utilities available that can work with netCDF data, such as CDO, NCL, or the ncregrid program: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/netcdf/software.html#CDO http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/software.html#NCL http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/software.html#ncregrid There is also a regrid program available for IDL, ncregrid.pro, but I,m not sure whether it comes with IDL or must be downloaded and installed. --Russ Russ Rew UCAR Unidata Program address@hidden http://www.unidata.ucar.edu Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: FKZ-491479 Department: Support netCDF Priority: Normal Status: Closed
