[netCDF #LCX-170369]: latest NCO for Mac OS 10.4?

Hi Alice,

Unidata doesn't develop or maintain the NCO utilities, so NCO questions
might be better directed to the developers on the NCO sourceforge site:

  http://nco.sourceforge.net/

However, we have built netCDF-4.0 on MacOS X 10.4 and 10.5, and it
works fine "out of the box", if you only want the C interface (all
that is needed for NCO).  If you also need the Fortran 77 or Fortran
90 interfaces, there may be some environment variables you need to set
first, depending on the compiler:
