[netCDF #ZBS-432143]: NcFile memory leak (?)

Greg,

I didn't omit the mallinfo calls, I just ran your original
program with the data directory argument.  In my run, most of
the arean lines indicate no change, but there is a change with
FILE(n) where n is 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, ...  Maybe our allocator
is just getting memory in bigger gulps.  Anyway, I'll let you
know when we figure it out.
