[netCDF #UIK-833360]: NetCDF 4 test failure with HDF5 1.8.0 beta 3

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the report.  We won't be able to get to testing with
hdf5-1.8.0-beta3 until next week, but it's useful to get these independent
early tests ...
