[netCDF #ZBY-935486]: netCDF API for Python

Hi Reyna,

Yes there are a couple of netCDF APIs for python already, see: 
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/software.html#Python

If you look at them, I'd be interested in which you think is best.
