This should help: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/nEtCDF.html In short, feel free to use "NetCDF" in titles or when the name stars a sentence, but otherwise "netCDF" is preferred, because if the "N" is also capitalized it dilutes the homage being paid to the original developers of "CDF" :-). --Russ
