Sina Lohmann,

Please send me the standard outputs of the configure(1) script and the
command "make".

Institution: German Aerospace Center
Package Version: 3.6.0
Operating System: AIX 5.2
Hardware Information: IBM p690+ cluster
Inquiry: Hello,

I am trying to install netCDF on an AIX system, but I can't get it
working. "Make test" returns a lot of error messages like

"** test_nf_get_var1_text   === End of Compilation 1 === "

and I end up with lots and lots of errors like this one

"ld: 0711-317 ERROR: Undefined symbol: .nf_set_fill_"

I attached a file showing the output of make test. I set the
environment variables FC to xlf, F90 to xlf95 and F90FLAGS to
-qsuffix=f=f90 as suggested on the "known problems" page. What is going
wrong here?

Thanks for any help.

Regards,
Sina Lohmann
